How to Change the Axiom Base Path Location (version 22)

Axiom's base path is the location in which all users' charts, applications, and preferences are stored. By default, this is located within the Axiom folder of the Canary Base Path, C:\ProgramData\Canary [Labs]\Axiom. (If wishing to change the location of the entire Canary Base Path, see How to Change the Canary Base Path Location.) If the user wishes to make Axiom's base path independent of the Canary Base Path, the following steps can be taken.

1. Open the Canary Admin>Services tile to 'STOP' the Axiom service.
2. Copy all contents from the original base path to the new location.
3. Open the C:\Program Files\Canary\Axiom\CanaryAxiom.exe.admin file and set the <basepath> parameter to the new location.
4. Ensure that the new location has the same folder permissions as the previous base path.
5. 'START' the Axiom service.
