In place of the browser client, the user has the option of downloading and installing a desktop client. To download the install:

1. Connect to Axiom using a browser by typing in the machine name or IP address of the historian server (e.g. http://<CanaryHistorian>)
2. Open a new chart
3. Click on the username in the top right corner
4. Select 'Download App...'
5. Click 'DOWNLOAD' on the new tab that opens

This will download the Axiom_Setup.exe which can then be installed on your computer.

Another option for downloading the desktop client is to type in the url for connecting to Axiom followed by "/axiom_install". This will direct the user to the download page mentioned in step 5 above.
