Setting File/Folder Permissions in Axiom (version 22)

By default, Axiom presents three folders from which a user can open or save their application to: the 'Public' folder, their own 'Private' folder, or the 'ReadOnly' folder (only admins can save to this folder).

 

With exception to a user's private folder, Canary does not restrict read access to the Public or ReadOnly folder or any of their subfolders that may be created. If wishing to restrict read access, permissions must be set on the files or folders themselves within Windows.

If a user is not granted permission to a particular folder, the user will not be able to see the folder when browsing the 'OPEN APPLICATION' menu shown above. If permissions are set on a specific application and a user does not have access, the application will still be visible, but an error will be thrown when attempting to open it.
