Axiom's base path contains all of the files for users' charts, applications, and preferences. It also hosts the Axiom.sqlite database for Automated Reports. By default, this is located within the Axiom folder of the Canary Base Path, C:\ProgramData\Canary\Axiom. (If wishing to change the location of the entire Canary Base Path, see How to Change the Canary Base Path Location.) If the user wishes to make Axiom's base path independent of the Canary Base Path, the following steps can be taken.

1. Copy all contents from the original base path to the new location.

   

2. Navigate to the Axiom tile>Configuration>Settings screen.
3. Edit the DATABASE PROVIDER>Path and FILE PATHS>User Data to reflect the new location.

   

4. Ensure that the new location has the same folder permissions as the previous base path. By default, the Axiom service runs on the CanaryServiceAccount.
