No option for "includeBounds" in Ignition module.

Hi,

I am using the Ignition module, but there does not appear to be any option to "includeBounds" as there is in the web API (see the above images).

Neither setting "includeBoundingValues" to True, nor trying "includeBounds = True" returns the bounding values. This presents an issue for reading data which does not change frequently.

I am able to retrieve the bounding values using the web API, however, this requires reformatting/normalizing where a DataSet is expected. I have done this using Python scripts, which is quite slow when there is a lot of returned data.

Thanks for the help,

Ferdinand.

  • Hi Ferdinand Tonby-Strandborg ,

We don't currently support this but we've placed it on our roadmap to include for the next Ignition module release. I don't have a timeline yet of when that will be ready, but if you follow this page, you'll get notified whenever it's available.
