By default, Canary stores its events in a SQLite database, C:\ProgramData\Canary\Events\CanaryEvents.sqlite. If wishing to store these events in an external SQL database, the user can modify the EVENTS DATABASE SETTINGS from the Calcs & Events Settings screen.

Once configured, the service will attempt to create the database using the given 'Name' on the provided 'Server'. If this fails, the attached CanaryEvents.sql script can be used to create the database and its tables.

The user may also run the script on the SQL server prior to configuring the settings within the Canary Admin.
