v24 Excel Locked if user doesn't authenticate

If a user opens an Excel v24.0.1 workbook, or opens a new workbook and interacts with the Excel Add-In, it will open a browser. If the user closes the browser without authenticating (not knowing what is happening), or authentication fails, the Canary Add-In will lock Excel up for a full minute (assuming it's waiting for a response from the browser - and times out after a minute). At the need of which they are prompted with this error that means nothing to a standard user.

If you hit OK on the error, excel locks up for another 10s and then brings the same warning back. Whereas if you hit cancel, it reopens the browser and attempts a login again. Which is definitely unexpected.

I'm hoping an auth flow with a better user experience/error handling is possible.

I forgot about this one! I was about to submit a bug for it when I found this. I can confirm this still happens in 26.5. I went to open the tag panel, it went to by browser, but I was on the wrong browser profile (personal instead of business). I closed the tab, but then Excel was just stuck waiting. I had to kill Excel.
