Automated Report Schedule Feature Request

When creating an automated report schedule, the dialogue does not parse and validate the address list when saving. It only errors out once the report runs. This causes some confusion as addresses are copied and pasted from source. It will be beneficial to warn the user immediately that the list will not work. IP address in screenshot has been covered for privacy reasons.

    Hi Laura Strydom ,

That error is unrelated to automated reports. That error is indicating that some thing from that IP address is requesting a file from the path specified, but it's not a legitimate Axiom path. It may be something on the network like a crawler testing for vulnerabilities. It's possible it could be unwanted activity as well.

As for the address list, how are you parsing it? I have tried using a comma and semicolon, but both work.

      Hi @Steve Mason,

We removed the names and <>  from the address list, which is parsing as it should.

But still the feature request is to validate that string list of email addresses and warn the user whilst editing that it will not work. Currently you can type whatever you want in there and the user will only complain when the report is not successfully distributed.

      Gotcha. That makes sense.
