Is there a way to exclude tags from search results in the Excel Add-in?

Yes. You can add the minus sign (-) in front of the term you wish to exclude in the Excel Add-in tag list search dialogue box.
For instance:
Search: pressure pump -Site 3
would match on tag [Site1.Pump1.pressure] and [Site2.Pump2.pressure] but exclude [Site3.Pump1.pressure]
