Siemens S7 collector?

Hello,
I 'm looking to connect the Canary collector directly to a Siemens S7 PLC's. Both OPC-DA and OPC-UA are disabled on the PLCs and I prefer not to use a protocol translator such as Kepware.

I found this Q&A from 2021 stating that a Siemens S7 collector would be released in Q4 2021. However, I cannot find this collector in the canary installer V25.0.3 .

Does anyone have a status update for this collector?

    Hi ,

    Unfortunately, those collectors are not available in v24+ of the software as they were not carried forward. They were not widely adopted so we discontinued their support and development. Typically, our customers implement something like Kepware or use the UA server that is integrated with the PLC.
