    Hi gamato  ,

I am sorry for the delay in our response; the holiday schedules have us short-handed until Tuesday, January 2nd.

Will iFix be the main source of your data moving forward, or are you looking to migrate your historical data from iFix into the Canary Historian? Meaning Canary would collect data from the same data source that GE iFix currently does, and we would back fill all of the historical data you have in your iFix historian.

If you will maintain iFix as the source of data for Canary, does your iFix instance have an OPC DA or OPC UA server we can connect with to acquire the data?

Shawn Ebersole Thank you for your reply. The current idea is to maintain iFix as the main historical data. We are in the midst of getting more information of the current iFix system. Is there any instance of other site having configuration, whereby iFix instance having OPC DA/UA server?

gamato More than likely, given our wide installation base, there has been some customers who have interfaced iFix with Canary. I do not have a list that tracks that though. We can definitely use our existing OPC DA or OPC UA Collector to collect data from iFix as long as your customer's iFix instance is compatible with OPC DA/UA. Please let us know when you find out, and then we can assist you from there. Thanks!
