Great idea Jim.  We just released a new feature in v21.3 of Axiom that allows the user to set the time zone for the application.  This can be done by:

1. Select the user name in the upper right hand corner of the Axiom application
2. Choose 'Preferences'
3. From the 'Preferences' window, select 'Time Zone'
