Global Axiom session timeout property

The url parameters makes it super easy to create a parameter to release the session after no activity, especially when these are embedded int 3rd part SCADA applications. But we see a lot of normal browser users just leaving their sessions open. Could a global session timeout property perhaps in the Axiom configuration be applied to all sessions?

Something we have discussed in the past.  Would the global setting need to be configurable based on user or role?

I think for ease of configuration, role would be great?

leonard. smit Maybe we could consider offering a choice between the following options???  'always timeout admins and users', 'never time out any one', or 'never timeout admins but always timeout other users'

Great news, the dev team has begun work on this feature and will be released in 21.3 scheduled for July.  More details to come!
