Having different dataset for each group under one OPC UA session
Hello,
I have a question about OPC UA collector.
There's a session-level settings and group level settings.
When I click OPC UA session, I can specify dataset.
When I click Group, I can change sample interval but cannot specify dataset for the specific group.
My question is,
is it possible to make sure
I have ONE OPC UA session, which has several groups under it, and each group can go to different dataset?
I know we usually make two different OPC UA sessions for two different datasets,
but would the scenario above be possible?

I know this doc is for the DA collector and not the UA, but I believe the advice is universal: https://helpcenter.canarylabs.com/t/60ypl9g/how-to-configure-the-opc-da-collector-version-26#:~:text=It%20is%20a,functionality%20stated%20above.. They suggest a one-to-one match of session to dataset. Which, would explain why you can't set the DataSet at the group level. I hope that helps!
Out of curiosity, what's the benefit for multiple groups in one session writing to multiple datasets?

Datasets are only set at the session level. Groups give you the option of organizing your tags if you want, or setting different scan rates, but they all go to the same dataset. A new dataset would require a new session.
