Ignition Collector Setup Errors

I am trying to setup a collector connection from Ignition, in my Ignition logs I see errors "SenderServiceAPI - Unable to get userToken service may not be running. "  and "SenderServiceAPI - Unable to get sessionToken service may not be running. "  My Canary Admin shows Sender is running, has anyone experienced this error? I have sender Endpoints configured to Anonymous on port 55253 and have allowed ANONYMOUS LOGON. Pretty new to Canary so have just been following the guides available online but cant find any information about this error - it is the only error that pops up in my Ignition logs and I do not see any relevant messages in Canary logs.

    Hi GaryR ,

Do you have the Collector configured to use the Sender on the "localhost"? Do you have the Canary Sender service installed locally to the gateway?

Steve Mason Canary sender service is installed on the server with the Historian so the Hostname parameter is configured to the IP of that server.

GaryR is it possible there is a firewall blocking the Sender port 55253 on the Historian server?

Steve Mason Looks like all the ports are open for Canary apps, I did not do the set up of the Canary Historian so I'm not sure who configured these rules or if they are configured on install.

I have also opened port 55253 on the outbound rules but the issue remains.

    Is the historian licensed?

What if you create a new collector in Ignition? Any difference?
