Events Table Control - manually format properties

Hi all,
using the events table control (v25.3) I would like to manually define the property's format, similar to the question by James Wise.

I couldn't find any documentation on formatting the values in the events table control, nor during the creation of the event in the Calcs & Events server ( < v25.4, >= v25.4). 

Is the only option storing the properties as string values during the event creation or should it be possible to format the event properties in Axiom (preferred way of working).
In addition, for numerical values, will Axiom apply the server format by default?
