OPC UA Collector performance issues
I have a problem with the OPC UA collector.
I am reading data from KEPWARE KEPSERVER OPC UA server.
I have an issue with the OPC UA collector — it often freezes. For example, when I change a group name, add a group, delete a group, or when I try to browse tags (one of these situations is shown in the video).
Is this normal behavior? Could my hardware be too weak? What should I check? The more tags I add, the worse it works.

Hi ,
The OPC Collector U/I can become sluggish when adding thousands of tags to a session, or even if you're browsing for tags and come across a branch that has a lot of tags. This is a known issue. Unfortunately, we hit a wall when it comes to U/I performance. The actual logging of thousands of tags is fine. Because of this restriction though, we recommend users creating path-based sessions instead of tag-based sessions. You an read more about tag- vs. path-based sessions here: OPC Collector Tile and How to Configure the OPC Collector.
The path-based sessions are more performant from a U/I standpoint.
Is there a reason you have 195 groups? That is a lot. Typically, a single session may only have a handful of groups. That may also be why the U/I is not very performant.
