Obsolete API Endpoint

I'm currently using canary with ignition and have found the process of removing tags from canary inconvenient.

The current canary ignition module does not have any ability to remove a tag from canary historian if the tag has it's history disabled.

It's a manual effort  of generating a obsolete csv file to upload to canary.

Can there be an API endpoint which we can use to send through a list of tags we want canary to obsolete and return a response similar to the currently generator output csv i.e (number of successfully removed tags , current tag total and list of tags that were not able to remove).

    Hi ,

Look for this functionality to be available in v25.3 in the next few weeks.

      Hi  ,
https://writeapi.canarylabs.com/25.3/ has been updated to include the /obsoleteTags and /unobsoleteTags functions.

I completely forgot about the API documentation location. Sorry

Any chance of this functionality getting rolled into the Ignition module as a script function? This will enable me to completely automate the process of checking if tags in Canary exist in Ignition and obsolete if mismatched. (I know if can just call the API, but then I need the API token exposed)

I haven't heard any talk of it getting implemented into the module, but you can certainly add a feature request.
