Does Canary recalculate after old data comes in?
I'm pretty sure the answer is no. But I wanted to confirm for a customer.
The customer has a calculated tag (runs when any inputs are updated) that is flow rate time product concentration. The flow rate is from the control system. Concentration is manually entered after the operator pulls the sample and analyzes it. The operator could enter the concentration minutes to hours after the sample was pulled. They want the timestamp of the concentration to be when it was pulled, not entered - which I know is possible.
Say the sample is pulled at noon, and entered at 2 PM with a timestamp of noon. By 2 PM, the product flowrate calc would have evaluated many times over. Will Calculations go back to noon and recalculate the output from noon to 2 PM? Or will it just start using the new concentration the next time it runs?
