SQL Data Collector for generic ODBC data source

I had an ODBC data source that I wanted to collect data from; looking at the SQL data collector, I see that it only supports MSSQL, MySQL, and Oracle, but a generic ODBC connection is not possible.

I wanted to confirm that my only choice was to do something like ODBC -> MSSQL -> Canary.

    Hi jerome. lefebvre ,

    We have an ODBC connector, but that is only used for reading data from the historian. If you are trying to write to the historian, you would need use the SQL Collector in conjunction with MSSQL.

    Thank you for the confirmation.

    I hope this can be considered. Setting up a linked table in MS is always possible, but it is an extra hoop to jump over for little benefit.
