CanaryEvents.sqlite - Is it being purged?

 Hello all

Is the CanaryEvents.sqlite being automatically purged? Or would just keep growing indefinitely? Any ideas about what size is considered a limit to evaluate and purge (and how to purge)?

thanks

    Hi ,

We do not automatically purge this database. We haven't tested the limitations of the Events.sqlite file although we expect it could handle a few million events. We have one instance running in-house that has over 2 million events currently.

If you needed to purge it, you would want to stop the Calculations service first so that nothing is writing to it. Using a sqlite editor, you could purge events from the Events table.

You also have the option of storing events in an external MSSQL database if you're concerned about volume.
