All of our documentation for the .NET client can be found here on our GitHub page. The project outlines all the common methods you would need to interact with. The CanaryWebServiceHelper.dll you will need for your project can be located in C:\Program Files\Canary [Labs]\Views on the historian server. It is best to copy this file to your project each time you update the server with a new release to guarantee that they are on the same version.
