Web API Call/GET with Power Automate / Sharepoint

Hello.

Is it possible to simply get data tag from Canary at a certain time into something like Microsoft Power Automate or Sharepoint?  If so, how?

Hi Sagar Patel . We typically recommend clients to use our web API for consuming the data in 3rd party applications, but I am not aware of anyone who has tried to integrate our API with Power Automate or Sharepoint so I'm not sure if it will work. Within the API call you request which tags and a time frame of when you would want to pull the data. Here is a link to our API documentation if you are interested in pursuing that route: https://helpcenter.canarylabs.com/t/h7hlv73/data-queries-using-the-read-api-version-21

Thanks, Steve.  I will try to play with it, and see if I can get some usage out of it.  If I do, I will post the method here afterward.  However, I am getting an error of "Null data result" in PowerBI, so until I can resolve that then I am not sure what success I will have within other MS applications.

Thanks Sagar. Here is an article I just created of how to pull data into Power BI. https://helpcenter.canarylabs.com/t/60hkp1c/connecting-canary-to-power-bi

      Maybe this will help.

Steve Mason I followed the example, and still wasn't able to connect (even in PowerBI).  PowerBI returns an error of Unable to Connect, with the error details as:  Details: "The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a receive."

sagar I've tried reproducing this error, but haven't had any luck. Are you using the same query from the example or do you have a specific query you are trying to make?

Steve Mason I'm using something similar to your example, but with a direct tag (%20 for spaces included), and replacing localhost with my actual server name.

sagar Are there any errors in the Message log? Doing a quick web search of the error it sounds like the TCP connection is timing out and not returning.
