Send to front / send to back feature

It would be nice to have a send to back (top of hierarchy) or send to front (bottom of hierarchy) in axiom. Ideally within whatever object you are currently nested in (i.e. if a symbol is on a panel, send to the front of that panel)

Hey !! I'm not sure if this is what you had in mind. But the Tree menu in the bottom left controls the z axis. The further down the list it is, the higher it is on the canvas. And objects within a panel can be rearranged within that panel as you suggested.
Note, there's a small "nuance" that whatever item is selected shows up on top of everything. So click off into the empty space if you want to see how it will look for real.
