I'm not familiar with that function as we've never encountered that request before, but based on my brief research it sounds similar to a new feature we have in our add-in that allows the user to recalculate the sheet on command without having to reopen a Canary data function to run it again.
Not sure if this will suffice for your process or not. -

The RTD() function is inherent to Excel and has the ability to connect to outside sources for read-only data communication. Uses COM automation, and updates automatically thus the interest for use with Canary. RTD is documented in Excel help. Thank you for considering.
