Data Compression
Hi Everyone,
I have some data showing that during the night, the hourly scheduled calculations give me a result of zero. When I check the data the next day, the calculated tag only saves the first zero of the night, and no other values are saved in the historian until the next morning.
I think this might be due to a compression method that Canary uses to be efficient with the data. Is there any way to force the data to be saved?

Canary stores data by exception when either the value or the quality of the tag changes. If neither of these have changed, the Historian will simply update the last timestamp to extend the current value if the tag is being currently logged or calculated. Is there a reason you want to log it every time regardless of change?
