PcVue data collector

Is there a PcVue Scada collector? Canary Web site says there is but I haven't found any information about it... Thanks

  • Hi aluizio ,

I'm not sure why the website has PcVue listed separately. There is not a special collector for it. We would connect to their OPC server using our OPC DA Collector. I believe they offer an OPC DA server. If they have a UA server, we have a UA Collector as well.

Steve Mason Thanks! I noticed that PCVue has disappeared from the collectors list... Does Canary come embedded with PCVue Scada? How many tags? Regards.

PCVue uses us for their "Enterprise Historian" if you require a historian. See https://www.pcvuesolutions.com/usa/index.php/products-a-technology/enterprise-historian-58328

I'm assuming it is an additional cost depending on what package you purchase, but I recommend reaching out to them for the details.

Steve Mason Thanks again! Does PCVue incorporate Canary as their historian like  Tatsoft does? I mean, Axiom/Excel Add-in don´t  come with "Enterprise Historian", right?

    • aluizio As far as I know, Tatsoft only uses the Historian component. I'm not sure what's included with PCVue. I would contact them to verify.

    Hi aluizio
As said by Steve, there is no specific collector for PcVue.

PcVue is OPC-DA server and can be also OPC-UA Server.

Canary Labs Historian is part of the PcVue Solutions package and, yes, the Excel Add-in is coming in option.
