How often View Rebuild Occurs

"As new tags are logged to DataSets, Virtual Views automatically rebuild and, in the process, discover the new tags integrating them into the Virtual View."
How often does Canary scan for new tags in the datasets? Is there a "cooldown" interval where it will not rebuild views in a short amount of time?

Canary won't exactly scan for new tags. When a tag is added, removed, or changed in a DataSet, it will let Views know and the related Views will update. You can see it in Messages I think if you look for the keyword trigger.
And yes, the cooldown is called the Delay Recache and can be set in Views > Configuration > Settings. Default is 5 minutes. See https://helpcenter.canarylabs.com/t/x2yfyfd/views-tile-version-25#general

I will add - the addition, deletion, or modification of a tag's properties will also trigger Views to rebuild as virtual views may be built on a tag's properties rather than the tag name itself.
