We are getting ready to release (June or July 2021) our new collector technology that will run on .NET 5 (core) so yes, you will be able to run your data collection on other platforms.   Along with this new tech we will also be featuring native AB PLC drivers as well as Modbus.  The historian will continue to run only on Windows OS.
