Delete or replace old tag values

I have data that was put inserted in error. I need to replace it with the correct data. Is there away to remove old tag data and rebuild a file with the correct data?

Once data is logged into the historian, it cannot be removed unless you delete the entire file itself. You can overwrite values or qualities provided the timestamp is the same. You can also obsolete tags from a dataset if you no longer wish to make them available to the end user. This obsoletion does not actual delete the data, but it does remove it from clients being able to see it.

Starting in v25.2, a \deleteRange function is available in the SaF API to delete a range of values in the Historian. See https://writeapi.canarylabs.com/25.2/.
