v24 Axiom does not maintain imported Chart title

In Axiom v23, if you imported a Chart into a Trend Graph control in an application, the default title would be the path/name of the imported chart.

If you do the same thing in v24, there is no default title.

Was this intentional? I've never relied on that title. In fact, I think it's potentially confusing as the imported chart is not tied to the source chart in any way. But, I have customers that liked it and are asking why it's no longer there.

I'm not sure when this change came about, but I think it was even before v23. The reason, I believe, is what you said. The embedded chart isn't really tied to the actual chart file once it is imported. Changes made to either one do not affect the other. If the user wants a title, they could add a title through the Chart Options.

  Yeah, I mispoke. They want from v20 to v24. v20 it defaulted the title. Was the imported charts in v20 apps still linked to the source chart?

  My gut tells me yes, but I can't say for sure. If I find definitive proof I'll let you know.
