Data Logging Paused after Hard Shutdown (v26.3)
Forum / Latest News
Starting in v26.3, SaF data streams are automatically paused when the Historian experiences a hard shutdown. This is to prevent data from being stored in the previous file if the current file is taken offline as a result of the shutdown.
Data streams must be unpaused to resume logging once the current file is validated. See Recovery from a Hard Shutdown for more details.

It would be nice if it automatically unpaused after Background validation validated the file. Otherwise you're adding more work for admins to go through and unpause streams, or create scripts to do it in an automated way.
