Is there a limit (6?) on # of properties for an event?

We setup an event in Canary under calcs & events and tried to backfill but it immediately went live without adding any events. If we removed properties from the event it worked. With some trial and error is looks like maybe there is a limit of 6 property fields or perhaps it's something about specific properties we are trying to setup. Really just asking here..... Is there a limit of properties for an event?

    Hi James Wise ,

I don't know of any limit. I just ran a test using 7 properties as part of the event and that seemed to work just fine. Are there any messages in the message log?

Steve Mason Thank you for replying on this. We think the problem may not have been with the number of properties but with one that we setup that we didn't understand was a problem because no error was displayed. We didn't 100% confirm but we ran into something else that was similar and there we found the tag name was wrong. I created https://helpcenter.canarylabs.com/t/60ytdql/calcs-events-should-show-an-error-if-the-tag-name-is-invalid about that. We are going to consider our "limit of 6" issue to be because of something like that but thanks for confirming there isn't a known limit and more than 6 should work.
